Meet Pursia - A Sweet, Easygoing Girl You Can't Help but Love

Pursia is an estimated 5-year-old long-haired dilute calico who came to us as a stray alongside her kittens, and she has taken to indoor life like she never lived any other way. She was a wonderful, devoted mother, and now that her kittens have moved on to their forever homes, it is finally Pursia's time to shine.

Pursia is the kind of cat that is hard not to fall for immediately. She is calm, friendly, and very affectionate. Her foster describes her as having practically zero spice. She purrs easily, loves to rub against your legs, and is happiest when she has a warm lap to settle into. She is also an enthusiastic eater, has a particular fondness for a vertical scratching post, and loves a good bird watching session from the window.

While Pursia isn't much for playing, she has invented a game of her own. She will beg to be let into any room with a shut door, and the moment you oblige, she will immediately beg to go back to the one she just left. It never gets old. For her, anyway.

When she isn't busy supervising the household, you might find her nestled into a cardboard box or a pile of laundry which are her preferred sleeping spots over any fancy cat bed. She does get stressed during thunderstorms and will seek out a quiet place to hide until it passes, so a calm environment will help her feel her most secure.

Pursia would do well in a wide variety of homes. She is comfortable being picked up and carried around, and she handles the chaos of daily life with a consistently calm and loving attitude. She would do well with kids, and she also seems comfortable around dogs, though she appreciates it when they respect her space and avoid any sudden movements. Whatever kind of home she goes to, Pursia is sure to fit right in, and she will work her way into your heart in no time.
