Domestic Medium Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Alexandria, Louisiana

Meet our lovely girl, Juno!! She is 7 months old as of April 2026 and is an absolute super cute kitty!! This beautiful kitty loves her massages. She is a loving happy girl but she does have boundaries like the fact she does not like being picked up or cuddled too tight and will defend herself if she feels threatened so she would not be a good fit for young kids or people who want an instant velcro kitty. She has a shy and independent nature and can get really scared in new environments but once she adjusts she loves to just lay around and get petted and massaged and cuddle with you as you work on the computer, watch a movie or just want a buddy to tell your secrets to as she listens as long as you keep petting her. She is very playful and loves to chase her wand, toys or climb to the very top of the cat tower to be the Queen of the Tower. She is good with other cats and she likes to chase after or be chased by other cats once she’s decided she likes them, which does take her a little time and is a typical cat personality. She does not have much experience with dogs so she is very unsure about them and would likely take some time to learn they are safe but I think with a cat friendly dog and some patience she would come around. She and her sister were rescued in a storage building next to an office where their feral mother gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. As soon as they were caught, we began the training of showing them human interaction is good and you can get some pretty incredible love. Juno has come a long way and will continue to do well with more and more interaction. Her sister Pixie is already in her forever home in MA so our girl Juno is ready to make some excited adopters very happy with such a beautiful kitty! If you are looking for a pet that likes affection while still wanting to do its own thing then we think Juno would be a perfect match :)
