Linus - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in West Warwick, Rhode Island

Linus & Simba need their REAL forever home!

This one hurts my heart a little.

Linus is 8 and Simba is 6. Both were adopted as kittens and spent years believing they were already home.

Recently, through absolutely no fault of their own, their lives changed when their family decided to surrender them.

Suddenly these two boys found themselves scared, confused and in completely unfamiliar surroundings.

For the first couple of months, they were so frightened they acted almost feral. But with time, patience and a whole lot of love, something beautiful happened.

They learned to trust again!

Today, Linus and Simba are social, friendly boys who are ready for the next chapter of their lives. Even Simba, who wasn’t particularly affectionate in his previous home, has completely blossomed.

After everything they’ve been through, we are determined that their next home really will be FOREVER!

These boys are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. A home without other animals would be wonderful, although it isn’t an absolute requirement.

At 8 and 6, Linus and Simba are NOT old cats. They have so much life, love and companionship left to give.

They deserve someone who will look at them and say, “You’re both home now. You’re never leaving again.”

Please share their story. Somewhere out there is the person or family these two boys have been waiting for. Let’s help them find each other.

Even if you can’t adopt, a share could be what helps Linus and Simba find their forever family.
