Meet Checkers!
Est DOB: 07/29/2026

This handsome boy is curious, friendly, and always ready to check out what’s happening around him. Checkers loves people and has a particular appreciation for cuddles... preferably whenever his humans are sitting still long enough to be useful!

He’s an affectionate little guy who enjoys exploring and then coming back for some attention and snuggles. And when mealtime rolls around? Checkers has plenty to say about it! He’s not shy about announcing that dinner is late, and he’s more than happy to make sure nobody forgets who’s waiting for their food or if you are being too slow preparing it

Checkers must be adopted with another kitten or to a home with a friendly feline companion.

is one of the kittens expected to be at our Kitten Adoption Event at PetSmart Grandview on October 25th! Apply for your adoption appointment on our website today: https://straightouttarescuesociety.ca/cat-adoption-application
