Cowgirl has spent her whole life outside and is enjoying the inside life. She does start out watching, thinking, and waiting to see if you're safe. And once you are? You've got a loyal, playful, loving friend for life.

New people and places make her a little nervous but that is normal. She needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. No deadlines, no pressure. Wand toys, balls, crinkle toys - Cowgirl loves them all. Playing is how she shows you she feels safe.

She's not a lap cat yet. Instead, she'll lay next to you, lean into pets, and purr softly. She also loves being brushed. It's her spa time and bonding time rolled into one. The fastest way to Cowgirl's heart is through treats. She's polite about it, but her eyes say "more please."

Cowgirl would love a calm, home where she can decompress and bloom at her own pace. She'd be fine as your only cat. She did live with many other cats outside so would probably do well with a mellow cat who gives her space.

Cowgirl isn't the loudest cat in the room, but she might be the most rewarding. Adopt her, give her time, and watch this shy girl turn into your best friend.
