Meet Diana, an astonishing 16-year-old lady who is still going strong and would like to speak to the manager about how all of this has turned out. Preferably from the comfort of a very soft blanket.
Diana had a home her entire life, where she was the one and only baby to her beloved owner. After her person passed away, kind neighbors stepped in to make sure she got the care she needed, and now this sweet old gal is looking for a cozy place to enjoy her golden years. Diana has a little trouble getting around these days, so she'll appreciate soft beds, fluffy blankets, and maybe a ramp to help her reach her favorite lounging spots. She doesn't like other cats, and at this stage in her life, she'd really prefer to be the only feline royalty in the household. She's not going to tear up your carpet, redecorate your furniture with her claws, or knock everything off your nightstand at 3 a.m. She's here for the quiet life, thank you very much. She also has a very special voice, somewhere between a tiny frog and your cranky, chain-smoking aunt from Long Island. At 16, she's earned the right to sound however she pleases.
HEALTH & SPECIAL CARE
Diana was diagnosed with stage 2 renal disease in 2018, which progressed to stage 3 this year. She's not currently taking medication, but she'll need regular veterinary checkups and a family willing to keep an eye on her health. She may have arthritis, too, so a little extra help getting around and a comfortable, accessible home will go a long way. She's occasionally particular about her wet food, because even an elderly lady has standards!
ADOPTION FEE: $130
Diana's adoption fee includes:
- Spay Surgery (Although that happened long ago!)
- Vaccinations
- Flea and worm treatment
- Veterinary examination
- Years of veterinary history
- A bag of food to take home
That's an estimated $300–$500 worth of veterinary care and supplies for just $130.
Diana is looking for a very particular kind of home: quiet, comfortable, and full of little luxuries like warm blankets and convenient napping spots. In return, you'll get a seasoned companion who's past the chaos of kittenhood and ready to enjoy the simple things in life. If you have a soft spot for senior cats and room for an opinionated old lady with a whole lot of character, Diana might be just the roommate you've been looking for. Let's find this lovely lady a retirement worthy of her!
