Domestic Long Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Sacramento, California

Connor came to our shelter in 2025 as a bright-eyed, confident kitten with a playful spirit and a big personality. He was always the first to dash to the door to greet his foster mom and, thanks to his love of mealtime, quickly earned the title of “biggest kitten in the litter.” It was no surprise that he was adopted as soon as he was old enough.


Sadly, months later Connor was found wandering the streets, underweight and with skin and coat concerns. He was brought safely back to our shelter, where we learned he has a flea allergy. With proper flea prevention and care, Connor is feeling much better. To keep him healthy and comfortable, Connor will need to remain an INDOOR-only cat and should continue to receive monthly topical flea prevention meds.


**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your ID with you too!
