Meet Frances, a breathtakingly beautiful 3-year-old long-haired brown tabby who is officially ready to start her happily-ever-after! Frances' story has a wonderful twist: she was found as a stray by a kind Samaritan, and lo and behold, she was secretly pregnant. She turned out to be the most wonderful, dedicated mama, but now that her kittens are grown and her parenting days are proudly behind her, Frances is ready to step into the spotlight and find her own dream home. This gorgeous girl is incredibly gentle, playful, and easygoing, though she can be a little shy when adjusting to new surroundings. Because she likes to take her time getting her bearings, she'll need a quiet room of her own for a short time to build up trust and get used to the sights and sounds of her new home. Once she knows she's safe, her sweet personality truly shines. Frances would do wonderfully with respectful kids over the age of 8, and she would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog who knows how to respect her boundaries and give her space. When it comes to other cats, Frances is looking for a very specific arrangement. While she would absolutely love to be your one-and-only queen, she is completely open to sharing her space with another calm feline--provided they are looking for a "roommate" rather than a best friend. Think less "cuddle buddies" and more "co-existing in harmony while respecting each other's side of the couch." Finally, keeping this feline supermodel looking her best does take a little teamwork! Frances needs a dedicated adopter who will regularly brush her luxurious coat to keep her free of mats, which doubles as the perfect way to bond with her.
