KRAMER
Domestic Long Hair
🇺🇸
Marysville, Ohio
May 6th
male, large, young
DESCRIPTION
Kramer and 2 of his litter mates have a congenital disorder called Anterior Segment Dysgenesis. This means that their front eye structures formed abnormally. This disorder can also cause glaucoma, which Kramer currently does not have.
Kramer can see fairly well on the one side, however he has poor depth perception. He relies on touch with his paws and familiarity to be able to jump down from the sofa and chairs. He will occasionally bump into furniture legs. He can be bitey as he uses all his senses to navigate.
Kramer loves to be held or sit close and purr. He uses what eyesight he has, smell and sound to be able to track objects such as toys and flying insects.
He can never be an indoor/outdoor or outdoor only cat. He can never be declawed.
Kramer has some special needs and will require his adopter to accept his limitations. He may need to be shown where his food, water and litter boxes are in a new home. But, will easily find them once he knows where they are.
IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING KRAMER, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. IF APPROVED, WE WILL BE IN CONTACT TO SCHEDULE A VISIT. KRAMER WILL BE STAYING WITH HIS FOSTERS AND YOU WILL NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HIM.
