RyRy with Russell - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Manchester, Connecticut

Russell (male, 13), and RyRy (female,16) are an adorable, very affectionate, bonded pair hoping to find a quiet, low-stress, low-activity home where they can enjoy their golden years together.
Russell is a big, affectionate boy with a soft personality and a regal presence. Lovingly nicknamed Panther, Russell has a sleek, glossy, long black coat and wonderful energy for a senior cat. This handsome boy enjoys engaging in active playtime almost as much as he enjoys his food, which makes playing a great way to help him lose a few pounds and stay healthy! Russell loves his cardboard scratchers and chasing all sort of laser and fast-moving toys. And after burning all the energy, this love bug will be ready to switch between your lap for a relaxing session of light brushing and chin rubs and a safe-warm spot near a window to feel the breeze on his whiskers and enjoy the outdoor views!
RyRy is Russell's sister and she is a stunning long-haired grey cat that hardly seems to age! At 16, she still looks much like she did when she was younger. RyRy loves being around people who show her affection, and while at first she can be a tiny bit more reserved than Russell, when the mood strikes, she is happy to join in the playtime fun. Some of RyRy's favorite toys include hanging toys and wands, though she has been known for her creativeness to turn almost anything into a toy to entertain herself! When it is time to relax, RyRy is also very fond of sitting on your lap for naps and gentle brushing, to help maintain her natural beauty. RyRy was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is doing well on a special urinary diet of wet and dry food, which is also shared with Russell.
The ideal retirement home for this lovely pair of furry friends will be a low-level activity home, with no other pets and no young children, so that they can relax, feel safe, and enjoy the calmer environment they deserve.
