Meet This Sweet Senior Lady

This beautiful 7-year-old domestic longhair is looking for a calm, loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and be the queen of her castle.

She was surrendered after the activity and unpredictability of small children caused her immense stress. She would do best in a home without young children where she can enjoy a little more peace and quiet.

She has experience living around both adult cats and kittens. Her attitude toward other cats is pretty neutral-she doesn't seek them out, but she's perfectly capable of peacefully sharing her space. She has also been around a dog and is comfortable coexisting with one, provided her boundaries are respected. She isn't particularly interested in canine companionship, but she'll tolerate a dog and has no problem letting them know when they've gotten a little too close for comfort. If the resident dog violates her personal space, she has been known to deliver a well-deserved little smack.

One of her absolute favorite places to spend her days is the screened-in cat porch, where she can lounge, watch the world go by, and enjoy the fresh air safely.

And then there's her love language: FOOD and cuddles. She is very food motivated and absolutely loves wet food, which should make her heart-and her trust-easy to win. She acclimated almost instantly to her new foster setting. She is a cuddly lap cat who will happily settle in beside you for some quality relaxation. She also makes biscuits galore, so prepare yourself for plenty of adorable kneading.

She may be a senior, but she has plenty of love left to give. What she's looking for is simple: a peaceful home, someone who respects her boundaries, a cozy lap, delicious wet food, and a safe place to spend her days.

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion with a little independent spirit and a whole lot of biscuits, she might just be your girl.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and is microchipped.
