MEET PRINCESS DONUT!
I would like to begin by making one thing perfectly clear:
**I AM PRINCESS DONUT.**
Yes, *that* Princess Donut.
From the moment my foster humans saw me, they understood that I was destined for greatness. Obviously, they had no choice but to give me a name befitting my extraordinary beauty, intelligence, bravery, and general superiority.
So, naturally, they named me Princess Donut.
A wise decision.
MY ORIGIN STORY
Once upon a time, I lived on a farm with my two siblings and our mother.
It was not exactly a five-star resort.
The nice new human who bought the property noticed that there were a bunch of cats and tiny kittens running around. More importantly, they noticed that we were very skinny and VERY SICK.
This human did the correct thing and immediately called for help.
The HSOC Cat Team came to our rescue and trapped me, my siblings, and our mother so we could finally get the medical care we desperately needed.
Our mother got to stay at the farm after being TNR'd, which is excellent because she clearly had important farm-cat business to attend to.
But my siblings and I?
We were destined for something greater.
We were going to experience...THE PLUSH LIFE.
And that is how I ended up in foster care.
You are welcome.
THE EYE INCIDENT
Now, I should probably address the obvious.
I have one eye.
No, this does not make me less adorable.
It makes me **more powerful.**
By the time I arrived at HSOC, my left eye had already ruptured. The humans believe it happened because I had a truly terrible upper respiratory infection rather than because I got into a fight. Which is probably for the best.
Because when the humans examined me, they discovered that my eye was in such dangerous condition that it had to be removed.
There was just one tiny problem.
I weighed **less than TWO POUNDS.**
Apparently, this made surgery "very risky."
I personally thought everyone was being dramatic.
The eye had to go.
So it went.
And I absolutely **CRUSHED IT.**
I came through surgery like the tiny, magnificent warrior I am and recovered like an absolute champion.
Sure, I look a little more pirate-like now.
But honestly?
The look works for me.
And before you ask: No, having one eye does NOT slow me down.
I run.
I climb.
I play.
I cause problems.
I supervise.
I live my life at approximately 110% DONUT.
BUT I AM ALSO VERY SOFT
Look, I may be a fierce warrior princess, but even queens require appropriate accommodations.
Specifically:
**BOOTY SCRATCHES.**
I love booty scratches.
I also love greeting my foster humans when they come home. I will run up to them, meow a very important greeting, and immediately begin purring at maximum capacity.
This is called customer service.
I am extremely enthusiastic about playing and I have approximately zero fear of new people.
Old friends?
Wonderful.
New friends?
Wonderful.
People who have treats?
MY BELOVED.
I REQUIRE A FELLOW CAT
Humans are wonderful, obviously.
But I also love other cats.
A LOT.
So if you are considering adopting me, please understand that I require a Forever Family with another feline companion.
I need someone to play with.
Someone to snuggle with.
Someone to adore me as only other cats can adore me.
Someone who will understand that sometimes a beautiful one-eyed princess simply needs to sprint through the house at top speed for absolutely no reason.
This is non-negotiable.
IMPORTANT HUMAN ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION
I am spayed.
I am microchipped.
I tested negative for FIV and FeLV!
And I am ready for my Forever Family.
I have survived being sick.
I have survived losing an eye.
And now?
I am ready for the next chapter.
Preferably one involving a soft bed, a feline friend, lots of booty scratches, delicious food, and humans who understand that they are extremely fortunate to have been chosen by me.
