Meet Sloan, a handsome long-haired gray boy with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat.
Sloan came to Kindred Kitties through a TNR program after it became clear this sweet guy was simply too friendly to return to life outdoors. For nearly two years, Sloan survived outside, and his beautiful long fur became heavily matted and tangled along the way. To help him feel comfortable again, he had to get a bit of a funny haircut but his gorgeous coat will grow back in soon.
Despite everything he's been through, Sloan never lost his loving spirit. This easygoing, silly boy loves to play, enjoys the company of people, cats, and even dogs, and has the cutest little chirp when he wants attention. He uses the litterbox like a champ and still gets the occasional burst of zoomies that remind everyone he's young at heart.
Because of his time outside, Sloan can be a little cautious at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality shines through. He absolutely adores pets and attention sometimes so much that he can get a little overstimulated because he just loves being loved.
Sloan is the kind of cat who will happily lounge in a cozy window perch, chirping at the birds and watching the world go by. After spending so long outdoors, he deserves a safe, loving home where he can finally relax, be spoiled, and enjoy the indoor life he was always meant for.
He could be your one and only cat or he gets along great with other cats.
