Nora - Domestic Long Hair and Calico Cat for Adoption in Huntington, New York

Hi! My name is Nora and I am around 6-7 yrs old. I was adopted as a kitten to a family that I thought would love me and keep me safe. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... The children in the house were extremely rough with me and didn't treat me gently at all.. The day they brought me to the town shelter was actually a relief- I know that there are better days ahead- I am now at GPS and I LOVE EVERYONE!!! I am extremely affectionate and I am very smart- I also love being with the other cats here! I get along with everyone! I need someone to know that even though I haven't had the easiest life- I am so ready for a "re-do". I have so much love to give and I cannot wait to be with a loving family where I can feel comfortable and cherished! I do prefer to be with older children for obvious reasons :(
