Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is a beautiful adult female cat with a big heart and an independent streak. She recently returned to Dessin through no fault of her own after her adopter unfortunately experienced some health challenges and was no longer able to care for her. We know coming back to the shelter can be a big adjustment, but Gizmo is ready to find her forever home once again.
Gizmo is friendly and affectionate with people and enjoys gentle playtime, sunny windows, and plenty of love and attention from her favorite humans. She can be independent and knows what she likes, but she's also a sweet companion who enjoys having her people around. Gizmo previously did well with children and would love a calm, cozy indoor home where she can settle in and feel comfortable.
**Pet Preferences:**
Gizmo would prefer to be the **only pet in the home**. She does not enjoy living with other cats, and dogs tend to stress her out. She'd love to be the queen of the castle!
