If your idea of the perfect evening involves a comfy blanket, a cozy lap, and a whole lot of purring, then Retweet is absolutely your guy! Retweet is a handsome, fluffy, incredibly sweet boy who LOVES human affection. A true gentle giant, this personable boy will follow you around the house and may even stop to tell you all about his day. And when it is time to relax? Retweet is ready! He is an expert lap warmer and has perfected the art of snuggling himself deep inside soft blankets. If you cannot find him, just look for a suspicious little blanket hump. When he is not busy being your personal cuddle buddy, Retweet enjoys his other favorite pastime: professional bird watching. And he has a quirky little habit that we think is pretty adorable, you might occasionally discover one of his toy mice tucked inside your coffee mug. Apparently, that is just how he rolls.

Retweet came to VA with his family all the way from Qatar and to us at no fault of his own. Judging by his size, fluffy good looks, and adorable antics, we think he may have some Maine Coon in his family tree. He would do best in a low-key, peaceful home without young children where he can relax and enjoy the good life. if you are looking for a sweet, fluffy, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to hang out with you, warm your lap, burrow under blankets, and occasionally hide a mouse in your coffee mug, then Retweet is the one for you. When you meet him, you will see for yourself, he is hard to resist, he will instantly steal your heart!

There is one very important requirement for this handsome guy, Retweet MUST be the only cat in the household. No exceptions.

More Adoption details: An important part of the process is to match the life-style and needs of the adopter with the individual animal being adopted. Once you have fallen in love with your purrfect match, you will need to complete an application. We have the online adoption application, or you may fill out a paper application in person at The Cat Corner location. We do not do "same-day adoptions". Our adoption fee helps to offset the services that we provide for your newest furry addition. It also acts as a donation to help support our organization as a whole, allowing us to continue our efforts to rescue and re-home cats in need of our help.

One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
