Hope is a beautiful young black cat with a petite build and a fluffy, soft coat of dark brown and black fur. Her bright eyes really stand out against her dark coloring, and she has a wonderful personality to match her looks.

Hope loves attention and is a wonderful companion, especially for someone who spends a lot of time at home. She enjoys brushing, ear and head rubs, and curling up on a person’s lap. She purrs loudly and often when she’s getting attention, and she’s wonderfully gentle about being petted. She’s also happy to find a cozy spot nearby when it’s time to relax or entertain herself.

Hope enjoys teaser toys, climbing onto laps, and spending time with her people. She’s playful and interactive but also knows how to settle down and enjoy a good nap. She’s been an especially wonderful companion for her foster mom, who works from home.

Hope has been great in a busy foster home and has enjoyed meeting people, including children. She has excellent litter box habits, keeps herself clean, and has been easy to redirect to appropriate scratching spots. She does not like being picked up or held in someone’s arms, although she will happily climb onto a lap. She has become comfortable with the other cats in her foster home and now plays and sleeps with them, but she may need time to adjust to another cat. Hope has also lived with a large dog, but she has strong boundaries and will hiss or swat when the dog gets too close, so a home without dogs may be the better fit.

Hope is a loving, well-mannered companion! Hope is ready for a forever home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful girl she is.
