Meet pretty girl Manchego! She is a one-year-old domestic long-haired cat who is looking for an adult-only home with a patient person who would help this shy girl come out of her shell. Manchego is a curious kitty who likes to observe the goings-on in the adoption room, but is cautious when interacting with people. Like the Spanish cheese she was named after, Manchego gets better with time...once she gets to know you, shell accept some gentle pets. Manchego arrived at the shelter with another cat, so she may enjoy the company of a feline friend in her forever home. You can meet Manchego at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter in Somerset, NJ Monday 12-2, Tuesday-Friday 12-3, and Saturday 12-5.
