Mango - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Enfield, Connecticut

Sometimes life doesnt go as planned, and our hearts hurt for cats like Mango.

We wanted to provide an update and correct some information about Mangos situation.



Mango was adopted as a kitten into a home with another resident cat, and the two coexisted happily. About a year later, the family introduced another kitten into the home. The new kitten and the resident cat quickly bonded, but unfortunately, Mango never accepted the newcomer.



Over the past year, Mango has struggled with the change. Despite a lot of love and efforts to make things work, Mango has never adjusted to the younger cat.



After much thought and many difficult conversations, her family has made the heartbreaking decision to return Mango to ECCP so that she can have the opportunity to find a soft place to land where she can truly be happy.



We know this wasnt an easy decision, and were committed to helping Mango find the right environment where she can thrive. Welcome back, sweet girl—well take it from here.

Mango is 3 fully vetted and ready to be the Queen of her castle as an only pet.
