Hello, dear friend. My name is Lucius.

Once upon a time, I thought I had my forever home. But life doesn't always go the way we expect, and through no fault of my own, I found myself back in search of a family to call my own. While I can't change my past, I'm holding onto hope that my next chapter will be the one that lasts forever.

I'm a gentle soul with soft, fluffy orange-and-white fur that's just begging to be brushed while we spend quiet evenings together. I'm not here to cause chaos or climb your curtains (well... probably not). I'd much rather be close to my people, soaking up gentle pets, blinking at you with loving eyes, and reminding you that sometimes the sweetest companions are the ones who simply want to be by your side. My heart is as soft as my coat, and despite everything, I still believe people are good.

This time, I'm not looking for just any home--I'm looking for my home. The kind where "forever" really means forever. If you have room in your heart for a cat who's already learned how precious love can be, I promise to spend every day showing you just how grateful I am. Maybe I lost my first happily ever after... but I have a feeling my real one is still waiting for me, and I hope it's with you.________________________________________________

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Specials all through August for our "Purr More, Pay Less" adoption event!

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $100 / 2 for $175
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $150 / 2 for $200

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
