Rosa is an absolutely beautiful 11-year-old long-haired black cat with stunning green eyes, one adorable white whisker, and the sweetest heart you could ever hope to meet. Please dont let her age fool you, age is only a number!

Rosa came to Against All Odds Cat Rescue through no fault of her own. Her beloved owner became ill and entered hospice care, making the heartbreaking decision to find Rosa a new family who could love and care for her. While her world has changed, Rosa hasn't let it change her loving nature.

Since joining our rescue, Rosa has received a full veterinary workup, including a dental cleaning with a few necessary tooth extractions. She's now feeling great, up-to-date on all of her vaccines, and ready to begin her next chapter of love, relaxation and retirement life!

If you're looking for a cat who wants to be your best friend, Rosa is your girl.

She absolutely loves people and would much rather be by your side than posing for pictures—which explains why it's so hard to capture photos of her! The moment you sit down, she's there making biscuits, soaking up affection, and reminding you just how wonderful senior cats can be.

Rosa has done wonderfully with a young toddler and previously lived happily with a small dog, making her a great fit for many families. She has been a little unsure around other cats since coming into foster care, so she would likely do best as the only cat or with a calm, independent feline companion who will respect her space.

Senior cats have so much love left to give, and Rosa is no exception. She doesn't need much—just a comfortable place to nap, someone to love, and a family willing to give her the happy ending she deserves.

All of our adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriately for their age and size (Rabies and FVRCP), dewormed, flea-free/treated, and microchipped with registration included and transferred to you after adoption. You will receive your new family member's veterinary records via email following the adoption to provide to your veterinarian.
