DESCRIPTION
I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by late May*. Mabel is a cute little floof with the sweetest little round eyes! Mabel was found as a stray with her brother Bingley and three other siblings, and as a result, she is a little shy. She has made lots of progress, but she still may take time to warm up in her new forever home. Although she's still working on being brave, she LOVES Churus and her cat dancer toy, and she would also love to go home with her brother. Mabel listens to music during the day while cuddling with her brother and has gotten used to all the sounds that come with living in a busy house. She also uses her litter box perfectly! Mabel will thrive in a home with a patient family with no kids or older kids who will give her space to warm up and come out of her shell. You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
