Ringo - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Ringo is a total love bug and attention hog. His favorite place to sleep is on the bed, preferably right next to your face. When he isnt strutting around showing off his handsome self, he lays down with his paw draped over the edge, making direct eye contact to ensure you are aware of how handsome he is.

Romeo, Ringo, Doc, and Amber are all very loving and friendly. They will sleep with you and love to be around people. They are so playful and love to snuggle and play with their mom. the room I have them in is like their jungle gym. They climb on everything and are very curious. Loud noises do startle them as its very quiet in the house. But sometimes things fall and they go running. It's the cutest thing to see all of them scramble to safety, then slowly peek out to make sure the coast is clear.

Their mom, Jemma, was a regular at the home of a colony caretaker in Little Village. When she reached out to PPAH for help placing her, the caretaker was concerned because Jemma kept having litter after litter of kittens and was about to give birth again. We found a foster and rescued her just in time. On March 13, 2026 her kittens were born: Romeo, Ringo, Doc, and Amber.

Ringo can be adopted with his mom, one of his siblings, or into a home with another young, friendly cat with whom he can play, snuggle, and socialize.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
