Although he didn't always have a good life, Gentleman Caller is a sweet, easygoing cat now looking for a home of his own.

He's a pretty relaxed guy most of the time, though he does enjoy playing and occasionally gets the zoomies. He adapts well to new environments and doesn't seem bothered by much. Household noises are no big deal to him, and he's even fine with the vacuum cleaner.

One of his favourite things is spending time with his people. He loves being brushed, getting scratches, and curling up for cuddles. He often sleeps in bed with his human, but he's also independent enough to happily do his own thing. One of the cutest things he does is come sit beside you and put his paw on your arm when he wants attention.

He prefers not to be picked up or cornered. Because of his past experiences, he can be a bit alert in those situations and prefers to have his space respected. He may also do best starting with an uncovered litter box while he adjusts to new surroundings.

Gentleman Caller does have one quirk. When he's enjoying affection, especially scratches and pets, he sometimes gives "love bites." He'll often be purring and seeking attention when it happens, but his love bites can be harder than most cats'. Most of the time it's just pressure, though occasionally he can get a little carried away. Because of this, a cat savvy adult home would likely be best for him

Overall, Gentleman Caller is a loving, adaptable cat with a lot of personality. He's the kind of cat who likes being near his people and will happily keep you company, whether that's on the couch, in bed, or just sitting beside you with a paw on your arm.
