Alastair Rupert Gatsby - Devon Rex Cat for Adoption in Washougal, Washington

Ever wondered what it would be like to meet purrfection?

Well, meet Alastair Rupert Gatsby! (A refined name, for a refined gentleman!)

Gatsby is a beautiful Devon Rex boy who is as charming and entertaining as they come. Originally from Poland, this gorgeous guy was clearly bred with temperament and personality in mind, and it shows!

Gatsby is super playful and can be prompted to get the zoomies at any time! He absolutely loves wand toys and is always looking for someone to play with. He loves his foster siblings and frequently pesters them to join in on his adventures. Because he has so much energy and genuinely thrives on interaction, Gatsby would do wonderfully in a home with another playful cat or kids who can give him plenty of attention and playtime.

But Gatsby isn't all chaos and zoomies! He is also a huge cuddlebug. He loves being close to his people and will happily sleep in bed with you at night. He is incredibly people-oriented and wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. He's also remarkably tolerant and easygoing, seemingly willing to put up with just about anything you can think of. And if you're lucky, he may even decide to groom you!

Of course, Gatsby has a mischievous streak. He may occasionally redecorate your counters by knocking things onto the floor, so you'll want to keep especially precious or breakable items out of his reach. Consider it part of the entertainment package!

Gatsby is good with other cats and little dogs. He has not yet met a big dog, so his compatibility with larger dogs is unknown. He would do best with a family that appreciates an active, social, affectionate cat and can give him plenty of companionship, play, and attention.

Like many Devon Rex cats, Gatsby does need a little extra grooming care. He is prone to kitty acne, so his adorable face needs to be wiped down regularly to keep him clean and comfortable.

If you're looking for a cat who will play hard, cuddle harder, follow you everywhere, purr the second he sees you, and keep you laughing with his antics, Gatsby might just be your perfect match.

The Devon Rex is a unique and playful breed known for its distinct appearance, featuring large ears, short curly hair, and striking eyes. These cats are highly intelligent, affectionate, and social, enjoying the company of both humans and other pets. With their energetic nature, they love interactive play and can adapt well to various living environments. The Devon Rex is a loving companion that thrives on attention and will quickly become a cherished member of any family.
