Forget sugar and spice and everything nice! This little calico kitten is full of sass and spunk, like a Halloween punk! If you ever loved a calico cat in the past, then you already are fully aware of what true ‘cattitude’ is.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to love one, then tiny Groovie Ghoulie will happily be that introduction for you!

Groovie is a funny, playful, curious little thing, but still gets jumpy around people. She loves it when you sit on the floor and play with her. But as a kitten still learning how to be inside, she gets overstimulated at times, and when she gets excitable, she does get a little “bitey”. Nothing to hurt you, just little love nibbles.

She likes to be brushed and praised, but is still working on being picked up and held for long periods of time. She will hiss and swipe when she gets annoyed with you, but she is quick to forgive and misses you when you're gone.

Calicos get a bad rap sometimes, but they are just far more honest and have less tolerance for people than most other breeds. The best thing about loving a calico while they are still a kitten, is that they can kind of learn all about you, and adapt to you as she grows up beside you. Groovie is only 5 months old, so she is the perfect age for "training."

She gets along well with other cats her age, and hasn't had any problems being around dogs, either. But we ask that if you have small children, keep their playtimes supervised while they learn each other, and show your child how to pet and handle her!

These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian.
