Bernie - Calico Cat for Adoption in Fort Worth, Texas

Bernie is still waiting for her forever home. She would do well in so many homes as she’s great with people, cats and dogs. Her foster mom recently took in some kittens (possible Bernie’s kittens) and Bernie immediately started grooming them and almost became like a kitten herself, playing with them. The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
