Opal is an incredibly affectionate, petite calico who absolutely loves people, cuddles and being in your lap. She has been through so much already - she was abandoned outside and later survived a terrible dog attack - yet somehow she is still one of the sweetest, most loving cats you could meet.

Because of complications from that attack, Opal has some light ongoing medical needs and needs a calm foster, adopter, or foster-to-adopt home where she can be the only cat.

She does not need anything special. What she needs most is a safe, peaceful place to land, Someone who can give her lots of love, and a little patience while her rescue continues managing her medical care.

She is affectionate, grateful, gentle and truly deserving of finally knowing what it feels like to be safe.

Her foster situation is urgent, and we really do not want this sweet girl to lose the stability she has fought so hard to find.
