Meet Mochi – A Vocal, Adventurous British Shorthair Boy

This handsome 2-year-old has the full British Shorthair package: a plush dense coat, broad rounded head, and piercing gold eyes that sparkle with intelligence and warmth.

Mochi is a chatty, curious soul who loves to “talk” to his people, explore every corner, and stay engaged with his world. He thrives on mental and physical stimulation — interactive toys, climbing adventures, and discovering new perches and hiding spots are his idea of a perfect day. He’s incredibly gentle despite his big personality, and would especially love a home with access to a safe outdoor spot, like a fully enclosed patio, where he can observe the world at his leisure.

He does best on a raw diet — Halshan beef with bone and Viva Raw rabbit are his favorites — though a high-quality wet food works well if raw isn’t an option.

Mochi comes with his beloved sister Yayoi, and the two are a true pair — you’ll find them play-fighting, chasing each other through the apartment, and curled up grooming each other when the dust settles. They’re a package deal, and wouldn’t have it any other way.
