Diva - British Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Cortland, New York

Diva is a shy but very affectionate girl who was originally brought to us as a lost stray in need of a home. While adopted a year ago, her adopter could unfortunately no longer provide adequate care due to health concerns and made the tough decision to return her to us so that she might find a new home where she can get as much attention and care as she needs. Diva is initially cautious of her surroundings but usually does not take long to warm up and be very content and comfortable. Her previous owner stated she loves to sunbathe in the window and curl up for cuddles at bedtime. She loves attention and gentle pets and will meow at you to ask for it. She has displayed some stress response at the sight of dogs around her, so a home with dogs may not be the best placement for her.
