Claire - Bengal Cat for Adoption in Pickering, Ontario

Claire is a purebred Bengal who has already experienced a lifetime of responsibility having been a mother for the first 3 years of her life. Now, after delivering her last baby and helping to raise her siblings babies, it's Claire's turn to be cared for and loved on.

This little girl desperately wants nothing more then to give affection to people. So much so that she can be quite vocal in her desire to tell people when she misses them or when she wants more attention. She enjoys sleeping with her person, either tucked behind your legs or as close to your face as you'll let her get. She is truly still just a baby at heart. She is always friendly with strangers as well!

Her desire to play is strong. She loves chasing wand toys and might even wake you up from time to time to play fetch. She has lived with other cats in the past but we think she may take time to get used to living with them again, so we encourage very slow introductions. Claire can get overstimulated so it is important to watch her cues. She will give lots of kisses before she gives love nips but with that in mind she would be best suited for an adult only home.

Claire has a sensitive tummy and may need her forever family to work with her to find the right diet. She prefers dry food over wet food and small meals are great for her. She doesn't gorge her food, so free feeding dry is no problem for her.

Claire doesn't mind being picked up but prefers that you don't hold her for too long. She really is not a fan of car rides and won't be shy to make her feelings on them clear.

Claire deserves the absolute best home and she is looking for a family to love her unconditionally and fiercely. She really, truly is the most deserving girl.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $350 for Claire. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
