Avacado - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Utica, New York

Meet Avocado — the tiny, tenderhearted kitten who's equal parts sweetness and play.

Avocado, around 8 weeks old, was found behind the Price Chopper in Colonie, doing her best to navigate the world all on her own. She starts off a bit shy, but she warms up quickly and reveals her affectionate, attentionloving personality in no time. Once she feels safe, she becomes a playful little whirlwind — chasing toys, pouncing on anything that wiggles, and happily soaking up all the love offered her way.

She's social, curious, and still learning her way through the big, wide world with wideeyed wonder. Whether she's batting at a toy or leaning in for pets, Avocado brings joy wherever she goes.

If you're looking for a gentle, playful kitten who blossoms beautifully with just a little patience, Avocado might be your perfect match.

For kittens we encourage adopting in pairs, especially if there is not another cat in the home (this can help with socialization and decrease negative/destructive behaviors in the future)

All kittens will be fixed/UTD on age appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption

Once everything is approved, we celebrate as your new furry friend officially becomes part of your family!

Out of State adoptions are possible for the right match but dependent on transport capabilities.

At this time our adoptions are limited to applicants who are 18 or older.

We require adopters' pets to be up to date on their rabies vaccine as per NYS law and highly encourage additional vaccinations.
