Our Sweet “Grandma” With a Heart of Gold Piggy is a gentle, loving 8–9‑year‑old girl with a story that will melt your heart. She was rescued from a hoarding situation with more than 50 cats, and despite everything she’s been through, she remains one of the sweetest souls in our rescue. When she arrived, Piggy was already spayed, but she needed hernia surgery and later had to have all of her teeth removed. Even so, she’s still as spunky as a 2‑year‑old when the mood strikes — and she lights up every room she enters. We lovingly call her “Grandma” because she’s so gentle with the younger cats, always offering calm companionship and quiet affection. But Piggy truly deserves a home where she can be the Queen. She’ll need to stay on soft/wet food for life, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. Piggy is a lap‑lover through and through — she adores curling up with her person and soaking in all the attention she can get.
