Niko is a very energetic and affectionate boy who was found as a 4 weeks old kitten with a very bad eye infection. He has a condition called Symblepharon where there is diffuse scarring and adhesions of the conjunctiva to the
cornea. These changes are likely secondary to herpes virus infection and/or secondary bacterial infection as a kitten. Fortunately this is
not painful, however vision in the left eye is limited. The changes are permanent with no treatment available. Niko is comfortable with his condition and doesn’t seem to be in any pain or discomfort. He’d do great as a second pet or can get adopted with one of his friends Allie, Finn or Morgan.
