Matt Murdock *blind* - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Matt Murdock, a 2-month old, blind force of a kitten whose superpower is resiliency. This little dude was found at only 3 weeks old, alone, eyeballs severely infected, fighting for his life. Without a rescue, this guy was set to be euthanized because of his suffering. That's when Waggytail Rescue stepped in and placed him in foster.

Matt recently had a double enculeation, meaning both eyes have been surgically removed. But being the superhero he is, Matt is recovering like a champ.

Despite his lack of sight, and receiving endless medical care, Matt has kept his happy, playful spirit.

This little man has lived with dogs and cats and would absolutely love a friend of either species. Full of energy, Matt tumbles, chases, hunts, just like any other kitten. He's an expert chaser of the wand toy and would love a playful companion. This guy is game for play anytime anywhere.

Matt will need to be adopted into a home with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. If you are looking for a pair of Waggytail kittens - note this in your application! Matt will do well with any of our adoptable kittens - Matt will make a great half of a dynamic duo.
