This sweet kitty was found in a parking lot, but she quickly showed she was used to people. She’s gentle, warms up fast, and loves curling up on a lap to purr. Though she looked like a kitten, the vet estimates she’s 1–2 years old.
She’s now fully vetted and spayed, and doing wonderfully. Since coming off the streets, she’s gained weight steadily and is healthy, happy, and ready for her next chapter. She tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. She’s ready to be someone’s indoor-only companion.
East C.A.N. has covered her vet care. Adoption requires a $200 fee and a home visit to help ensure it’s a good fit.
Her name is Caoimhe (pronounced “Keeva”), chosen in honor of her rescuer’s Irish heritage. It means gentle, kind, beloved, precious, or noble—and she’s every one of those.
