Jad porte un prénom qui signifie « générosité », et cela lui va à merveille. Après avoir vécu dehors pendant plusieurs mois, nourri par une dame attentionnée, il a été recueilli par la Maison le Chat Botté lorsque les grands froids sont arrivés. Aujourd’hui en famille d’accueil, Jad s’est adapté immédiatement à la vie intérieure. C’est un chat très sociable, curieux et accueillant qui adore la compagnie humaine. Il n’a pas peur des étrangers, aime observer les gens et communique beaucoup avec de charmantes vocalises. Joueur et énergique, il raffole des séances de jeu, particulièrement lorsqu’il peut rapporter et collectionner ses petits trésors préférés.

Jad est un compagnon affectueux qui aime être près de ses humains, même s’il préfère généralement les caresses aux longues périodes dans les bras. Il apprécie parfois dormir au pied du lit et suit souvent ses personnes de très près. Peu difficile côté nourriture, il adore particulièrement le pâté et les gâteries. Jad pourrait s’adapter à différents types de foyers, mais il serait probablement plus heureux comme seul animal ou avec des compagnons non dominants, puisqu’il a déjà été intimidé par d’autres chats. Quelques petites particularités le rendent encore plus attachant : il préfère une litière sans couvercle, aime vérifier l’eau avec sa patte et privilégie les griffoirs horizontaux. Avec son caractère attachant et son grand besoin de présence humaine, Jad fera le bonheur d’une famille prête à partager son quotidien avec lui.

He is not afraid of strangers, enjoys watching people, and expresses himself with plenty of charming vocalizations. Playful and energetic, he especially loves interactive playtime, particularly when he can fetch and collect his favorite little treasures.

Jad is an affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his people, although he generally prefers petting to being held for long periods. He sometimes sleeps at the foot of the bed and often follows his humans closely around the house. He is not picky about food, but he especially loves pâté and treats. Jad could adapt well to many different home environments, but he would likely be happiest as the only pet or with non-dominant companions, as he has previously been bullied by other cats. He also has a few endearing quirks: he prefers an uncovered litter box, likes to check the water level with his paw, and favors horizontal scratching surfaces.
