Meet Wedge!

Wedge is a 1-year-old male American Shorthair tabby with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome boy is playful, quirky, and incredibly affectionate. If youre looking for a cat who wants to be part of everything you do, Wedge is your guy.

Before coming to FABS Rescue, Wedges life was anything but easy. He was discovered in a Good Samaritans yard after their three large dogs chased what they thought was prey. Terrified and desperately trying to survive, Wedge somehow managed to scale a carport with a broken leg to escape them. His frightened cries for help caught the attention of the homeowner, who finally managed to get him safely down. Despite everything he had been through, Wedge immediately showed nothing but love and gratitude, rubbing against his rescuer and seeking comfort. It was clear this sweet boy had never stopped believing that someone would save him.

Wedge loves people and is happiest when hes in the middle of the action. Whether youre relaxing on the couch, entertaining friends, or simply going about your day, hell be right there beside you. Hes a future lap cat who enjoys cuddles just as much as playtime. His curiosity, confidence, and friendly nature help him make friends wherever he goes.

Wedge is up to date on all of his vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, neutered, and litter box trained. He does have a slight limp because his broken leg had already begun healing before he was rescued. After consultation with two veterinarians, both agreed that since the bone was already healing, it was best to let it continue to heal naturally. The good news is that Wedge doesnt let it slow him down one bit! He runs, jumps, plays, and enjoys life just like any other young cat.
