Idly - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Highland Park, New Jersey

Idly (DOB: 4/15/26) was rescued from behind an Indian restaurant as a teeny-tiny kitten who was understandably very scared of people. But with a little time, patience, and love, Idly slowly learned that people could be trusted, and now he is an absolute sweetheart!

Idly loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give him. He has a wonderful little purr that comes out whenever he’s feeling loved, and we have a feeling he is well on his way to becoming a fantastic lap cat.

He definitely enjoys playtime, but Idly has a more peaceful, gentle personality. He’s the kind of kitten who enjoys being near his people, getting plenty of affection, and taking in the world at his own sweet pace. Because of this, we feel that he will adjust better in a home without younger kids. He must go home to a home with another cat or with another cat from our rescue.

Idly is neutered, up to date with vaccines, FIV/FELV negative, and litter box trained. He is being fostered in Highland Park and his adoption fee is $225. We offer a $25 discount for any two cats adopted from us.
