Meet TEFI

At just approaching 11 weeks old and not even 3 lbs yet, little Tefi has already overcome so much.

Tefi came into our care, along with two adult male cats, from a home in southeastern Connecticut where the living conditions were heartbreaking. All three were covered in fleas, and by the time Tefi arrived, the constant flea bites had left her severely anemic. If you look closely at her intake photo, you can see just how pale her gums were.

Despite everything shes been through, Tefi hasnt let it dim her spirit. She is an absolute sweetheart who greets everyone with endless purrs, gentle headbutts, and so much love to give.

Shes now safe, receiving the care she needs, and getting stronger every day. So now the search begins to find the right home for her.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation for a cat is $320.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (fvrcp, rabies), microchip, exam, snap test ( only done on kittens if mama cat is not known) ,deworming and our cats are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $50.00 - $75.00).
