Meet Ella, a beautiful tabby with the sweetest green eyes and an even sweeter soul.

About a year ago, a friendly foster found Ella curled up sleeping in their driveway. They started leaving food out for her, and somehow, she became a part of their everyday lives. No matter the weather—through scorching heat, pouring rain, or freezing snow—Ella was always there waiting outside their home.

The foster knew bringing her inside had to happen on her terms. They took their time, slowly building her trust and letting her decide when she was ready. Then, on July 31, 2026, everything changed. The night the foster finally brought Ella inside, she wasn’t frightened or hesitant. She seemed almost relieved—as if she knew she was finally ready to start a new chapter.

And since coming inside, we’ve gotten to see the sweet girl she truly is.

Ella is incredibly affectionate, loyal, curious, and very much a little shadow. She loves being close to her person, seeks out affection, and wants nothing more than to be around her human. She’s also curious about other animals.

After spending so much of her life outside, Ella deserves more than a driveway to call home. She deserves a warm bed, a safe place, and a person who will love her as much as she loves them.

She waited for us for an entire year. Now, we’re hoping to find the person she’s been waiting for.

This is Ella’s new beginning.
