Meet Nolan & Cottontail!
Nolan and Cottontail are two very special boys looking for a forever home together. Though they came to us from different parts of Texas and arrived very shy, they found comfort in each other and formed a truly inseparable bond.
Nolan is a handsome black kitty with a tiny white diamond on his chest, estimated to be about 1–2 years old. He’s the braver of the two and has really blossomed. He enjoys being held and will happily curl up in your lap for some quiet cuddle time.
Cottontail is a striking orange tabby boy, estimated to be around 3 years old. He may never be a lap cat, but he is playful, gentle, and absolutely devoted to his best friend. Nolan is incredibly important to Cottontail—when they were separated in the past, Cottontail became very sad. Having Nolan by his side helps him feel safe and confident, and together they love to play and explore like kittens.
Important medical note: Nolan is FIV positive. FIV is not spread through casual contact such as playing, sharing food bowls, grooming, or peacefully living together. It is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, so FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can safely live together when they are compatible and do not fight. Cottontail is FIV negative, and these boys have happily lived together without any issues.
Because of their strong bond, Nolan and Cottontail must be adopted together. They would do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy cats and appreciates the quiet joy of earning their trust.
Adoption fee is $100 per cat.
If you're looking for a bonded pair with a beautiful friendship and hearts full of potential, Nolan and Cottontail would love to grow old together—right by your side.
