DESCRIPTION
We are dedicated to trapping community cats for TNVR- Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return. We do this in an effort to limit the overpopulation and better the lives of cats throughout our county, where there are an estimated 200,000 homeless cats. Statistically, 70% of kittens born outside as strays die due to infections, malnutrition, etc. By ending the cycle of reproduction, we prevent this suffering from occurring. We also rescue, foster, and adopt out kittens, sick/injured, and friendly cats, regardless of age, that we are able to pull from the streets. This year, we also started working with our local county shelter to pull last call cats that are slated for euthanasia so that we can give them another chance of finding a loving home. We primarily rescue adults and seniors, especially those that are fearful and have no other option. We do not receive city, state, or federal money, so it is through donations that we are able to feed, house, and provide the medical services needed to these amazing kitties!
