DESCRIPTION

Meet Pickles — the tiny green chatterbox you didn’t know your life was missing.

This adorable female budgie is full of personality packed into a very small package. With her beautiful green-and-yellow feathers, friendly nature, and nonstop commentary about absolutely everything, Pickles is ready to be the star of her new home.

Unlike some shy little birds, Pickles is social, curious, and loves interacting with people. She already knows “step up,” making her a great companion for someone excited to continue building trust and bonding with their feathered friend. Whether she’s chirping away about her day, hopping around her cage, or supervising your activities from a perch, Pickles always wants to be part of the action.

Her future family should be prepared to provide proper budgie care, including a spacious and enriching enclosure, toys and activities for mental stimulation, opportunities for exercise and social interaction, and a healthy, balanced diet beyond just seed. Budgies are intelligent, active birds that thrive with attention, routine, and proper care.

If you’re looking for a bright, cheerful companion with plenty of personality and a lot to say, Pickles is ready to fly right into your heart. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
