Chuckie - Parakeet Bird for Adoption in Middletown, Rhode Island

Meet Chuckie!

This sweet parakeet would love to find a caring, forever home, preferably one where another parakeet is already part of the family.

A home with another parakeet would provide an opportunity for companionship, socialization, and a feathered friend to chirp and interact with.

We are hoping to find a responsible and loving home that can provide:

A safe, spacious living environment.
Proper nutrition, toys, and enrichment.
Plenty of care and attention.
A compatible parakeet companion, with slow and proper introductions.
If you already have a parakeet and are considering adding another feathered friend to your family, this little one may be a wonderful addition to your flock!

If you are interested in Chuckie, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

The parakeet, a small and colorful bird belonging to the parrot family, is known for its intelligence, sociable nature, and playful demeanor. Parakeets are popular pets due to their ability to mimic sounds and words, as well as their beautiful plumage in a variety of colors. They require social interaction, mental stimulation, and a balanced diet rich in seeds and vegetables to thrive in captivity. With proper care and attention, parakeets can live up to 15 years, making them delightful companions for bird enthusiasts of all ages.
