Bunny is an incredible macaw with a story spanning decades of love.

She spent 20 years alongside her mate, Marley Bird, in a Washington dentist office—greeting visitors, sharing her presence, and living a life full of companionship.

For the last 10 years, she’s thrived in a devoted, bird-savvy home here in Montana.

She has been deeply loved her entire life.

And now… everything has changed.

In December, Marley unexpectedly passed, and Bunny lost her partner of 30 years. 💔

Thirty years of shared life—simply gone.

Macaws don’t just have companions… they bond for life. They are incredibly intelligent, emotional beings. They remember. They grieve.

And Bunny is grieving.

If you’ve ever loved and lost, you understand the silence that follows—the way everything feels different.

That’s where Bunny is right now.

And as if that loss wasn’t enough, her human—who loves her dearly—is no longer able to care for her due to declining health.

Now, Bunny is searching for a permanent home where she can spend her days surrounded by the love and companionship she deserves.
