With their distinctive crest, vibrant plumage, and playful personalities, cockatiels are popular companion birds among pet owners. These social birds thrive on interaction and bonding with their human counterparts, displaying affection through chirps, whistles, and even mimicry. Cockatiels are highly intelligent creatures that require mental stimulation, a balanced diet, and a spacious cage for optimal well being.
