Meet Pearl! This 3 year old cockatiel is seeking her new home. Her relinquishing owner writes:

Pearl is very sweet! She's not aggressive and she's very social and curious. She does not like or want to be handled. However, she'll let me kiss her beak or boop her beak with my nose. She will also land on my head. She enjoys company and following me around while I do chores, get ready for the day, and looking out the window. She is very social but shy initially. She might hiss and fake bite (it's very cute, she won't attack) if someone new comes too close when she's in her cage, but when she's out flying around she hangs out and observes until she feels comfortable enough to approach. I usually let her out everyday for about 1.5-2 hrs and weekends 3 hrs or more. She puts herself away or until I put treats in her cage. Pearl really enjoys human company, which she needs more of, but I think she might even benefit having another bird around. I haven't put another bird with her before though. I have the two parakeets she's always been around, but they're in separate cages.

She knows a lot of random tunes and will make up her own songs. She also likes to play peek-a-boo and will say it back. I recommend singing, whistling, and giving her new tunes to try. She won't copy anything for awhile, but she'll surprise you later on by repeating back when you least expect it. She loves Mati Bird on YouTube and the Birdingtons. She also enjoys music - I put the radio on a timer when I'm gone so the birds can listen to a variety and she likes
classical/instrumental music (including Star Wars!). I've offered her toys, but she doesn't seem interested. She has one special toy she uses to soothe herself though (rubs her head on it and play attacks it). I'm sure there's so much more Pearl can learn and do.
