Budgie Budgerigar Birds Available for Adoption in Temple Terr, Florida

My name is Bella, and I’m a 1.5-year-old female parakeet. My previous owner was 95 years old, and both she and my parakeet partner have passed away. I am now living with my foster mom, who is teaching me exciting new things. I don't enjoy being handled, but I absolutely love fruits and vegetables, especially greens and strawberries. I'm still discovering new fruits as my foster mom brings home different kinds for me to try.

On hot days, she gently sprays me with water on the enclosed patio, and I really enjoy that. I'm very curious and like to explore my cage, the floor, the curtains, and your home. I've learned to land better and love sleeping in my swing at night. I used to feel stressed and panicked by noises at night, but I've become more relaxed and now know that I am safe in my cage.

I've also had a check-up at the vet, and they said I’m in wonderful health!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
