Netherland Dwarf and Silver Marten Rabbits Available for Adoption

Meet Mint! This handsome little guy came to us as a transfer from another area shelter that needed our help after getting in 18 rabbits that were living together in a shed. During this time, Mint was probably attacked by another rabbit or animal living in the shed resulting in one of his ears being torn off. Despite living in such an awful environment, Mint has persevered and is gentle, curious and realizing he is safe now.

Mint is a Netherland dwarf with beautiful silver marten coloring. He is a small rabbit at only 2-3 pounds and could be approximately 3 years old. Mint's ideal home would be one that is quiet and low stress where he has a large pen enclosure but is able to free-roam in a rabbit-proofed area for most of his time. Mint is also looking for a lady rabbit friend that he can bond with so that he feels safe and confident. If you have a single spayed/vaccinated female rabbit who is also looking for a friend, Mint would love to go on a speed date with her! So far, he has been good with his litter box habits and is growing to love greens which at first he did not want to eat because he most likely had never had them before. He is making strides every day and we are so proud of him!
